Sheriff Anthony Louie serves as the elected Sheriff of Seminole County, Oklahoma, a role he assumed with unwavering dedication and a vision for positive change. Originally appointed on August 31, 2023, following the resignation of the previous sheriff, Louie was officially elected to the position in June 2025. A proud member of the Eufaula Band of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma, Sheriff Louie brings both professional experience and a deep connection to his community.

Before his appointment as sheriff, Louie served with distinction as a member of the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police, where he built strong ties with local law enforcement agencies and gained firsthand insight into the public safety needs of Seminole County. Since taking office, Sheriff Louie has implemented several impactful reforms. Under his leadership, the Seminole County jail has made significant financial progress—reducing debt and enhancing operational stability. He has secured raises for detention staff and increased staffing levels to promote a safer environment for both employees and inmates.
