
Chupco Charged after Seminole County Robbery

On Sunday, June 14, 2020, at approximately 4:45 AM. Deputy Russell Davis responded to the Sinclair gas station located at Hwy 99 and I40 for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred.
Deputy Davis learned that a female entered the store and presented an invalid credit card. After the card was declined the female later identified as Lucinda Chupco presented a firearm and robbed the store. Chupco then stole the cash register drawer and left the store in a dark green colored Honda.
A couple of days later, the same female attempted to rob another store in Pottawatomie County. Lucinda was arrested in Pottawatomie County for DUI and the vehicle was impounded. Investigator Thom Wood along with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on the vehicle where they located clothing which had been worn during the Sinclair Robbery.
A few days after investigator Wood received more information which led to a second search warrant for the vehicle where the firearm used during the robberies was located.
Lucinda Chupco was arrested in Cleveland County On June 23, 2020, and is currently being held in the Cleveland County Jail on a $25,000 bond for robbery or attempted with a dangerous weapon.
After completing the court process in Cleveland County Lucinda will be extradited to Seminole County where she has been charged with
- FIRST DEGREE ROBBERY
- FELONY POINTING OF A FIREARM
- ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY
- POSSESSION OF A FIREARM AFTER FORMER CONVICTION OF A FELONY.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
